BERRINCHA, Suzete M.
Suzete M. Berrincha, 22, of West Hartford ascended to heaven on November 3, 2011. Daughter of Jose and Maria-Teresa Berrincha and sister of Daniel Berrincha. Suzete graduated from Hall High School in 2006 where she was captain of the cheerleading squad. She received her Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Connecticutin Human Development and Family Studies in 2010. Filled with a zest for life, Suzete's contagious smile and upbeat personality lifted the spirits of anyone in her presence. A strong and independent woman, Suzete found the positive in every situation and took every opportunity of what life had to offer. Her top priority was her devotion to family and friends, on whom she showered her unconditional love. At such a young age, she clearly touched the lives of so many family, friends, classmates, co-workers and peers. With her degree from UConn, Suzete had planned a career that focused on her passion for helping others. She also possessed a spirit for adventure, loved to travel and looked forward to opportunities to discover new and exciting places and people. Besides her loving parents and brother, Suzete is survived by a sister, Janice and her husband, Kevin; nieces and nephews in Florida; cousins, Cristina Berrincha, Daniela and Taki Tanaka, and an array of family from Chile and Portugal. She leaves behind the loving friendship and unbreakable bond shared her closest friends, Amanda Pimentel, Tanya Costa, Cristina Garcia, Jubetsy Minaya and Eveel Fermin as well as her beloved pets, Tiger, Minina and Lyla. In addition, Suzete is grieved by her co-workers at Umi Sushi and Tapas of West Hartford.
A Service celebrating Suzete's life will be held on Friday, November 11, 5:30 p.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista, 210-212 Washington Street, Hartford. The Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford has care of the arrangements.

To the Berrincha family, I send prayers and love to you. Time heals all wounds. But this is a wound that hasn´t healed. Suzete was a breath of fresh air and was a great friend. I had the pleasure of attending both middle school and high school with her. She gave the best advice and always a positive light. With a smile that lit up the room. You are missed and irreplaceable.

Susy vivió conmigo durante su estancia en España. Desde el primer día las dos compartimos mucho tiempo juntas; me dio tanta compañía y alegría en aquellos meses que desde que volvió a su casa la he echado mucho de menos. I met Suzy this summer at UMI. My daughter, Alexa, worked with Suzy and became fast friends. I was so excited to meet Suzy as Alexa talked non-stop about her amazing friend, Suzy. I feel it's important for me to share that Suzy thought it was so "cool" that I was there to spend a week with Alexa as she was emphatic about the fact that her mother was her BEST FRIEND! I loved that so much and it left a deep impression on me. I was so thankful that this beautiful and radiant young woman was in my daughter's life. Alexa has shared with me that Suzy will never leave her life as her zest for life will have forever changed Alexa's outlook on life and that there will always be reminders of Suzy in everything Alexa does in the future. My heart aches for the Berrincha family. I only knew her briefly and she made a deep and happy imprint on my heart. God Bless You All,

The virtue that we carry within manifests itself in the mundane n goings of everyday. It is so present that those around us get used to its warmth and take for grated its existence.

La virtud que guardamos por dentro, se manifiesta en las cosas mas mundanas del dia a dia. Esta tan presente, que quienes viven en nuestro entorno se acostumbran a su calor y dan por sentada su existencia.
Cuando se pierde, cuando el azar y las incongruencia de la vida nos quitan esa luz, nos desconsolamos por su partida, la inminente falta de su brillo y tibieza entristece el alma y nos obliga a pensar en su ausencia...
¿Porque ella? ¿Porque ahora? Nadie sabe las respuestas, y si existieran no podrian calmar el corazon entristecido por la perdida. Nada puede.
Pero hay mas...estan los momentos grabados en la memoria, las miradas, las risas, las ocurrencia y los gestos que definen el valor de cada uno de nosotros, esos viviran para siempre, no se diluyen, no se olvidan y son el consuelo intangible que alimentan a los que quedamos sin ti.

You were so amazing with your angelic spirit. My many years of knowing you have been a blessing, I'm so glad to have known you and your family and to them I give my deepest sympathy. My greatest memory of you was from 1st grade in Mrs. Snow's class when we were studying Japan. The teacher ordered Japanese food for us and I was out that day. And when I got back she told me that you insisted that she save the food for me. You are so loved you will remain in my heart and in my prayers.

I just wanted to say that I did not know Suzete or her family, though my mother knows her father. Regardless, I feel terrible for the family in this situation. Suzete seemed to be a gorgeous woman with a beautiful spirit and a helping heart. I got a degree in Human Development from UCONN six years before she did, and I am sure Suzete would have been a great asset to the counseling community. I am very sorry.
