LAZARUS, Warren Jay
Warren Jay Lazarus, beloved father of Monica Lazarus, passed away unexpectedly last week, at home in Delray Beach, FL. Warren was born July 2, 1952, in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Louis and Laura Lazarus. Warren worked at various jobs in the health care industry for most of his life. He will be most remembered for his love of his family, sharp wit and undeniable intelligence; and his immediate family will also miss his love for Hawaiian shirts, Star Trek and falling asleep to The History Channel. In addition to his daughter Monica, Warren is survived by his ex-wife, Kathleen Godiksen, stepdaughters, Lindsay Hartzog and Stephanie and Allison Heft, his grandchildren Alyssa and Gavin Hartzog, and his sister Charlotte Bedusa and her husband Umberto and their family. His lifelong friends, Osh Wiessman, Stu Jacobs, Anthony Crapanzano and Victor Siegel, will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Warren's life will be held at the convenience of the family, date to be announced. As it was very important to Warren that Monica complete her higher education, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to Monica's scholarship account, "College America", and can be sent to Lindsay Hartzog, 102 Wetherell St. Unit 30 Manchester, CT 06040.

We will all miss Warren. He was a great guy with a big heart. My prayers are with you! All of here at Supplemental Health Care miss him deeply. Not a day goes by when a nurse doesn't ask about him. Prayers for your family are heading your way from ours.

Dear Monica,
Our entire family was shocked to hear of your dad's passing. We have nothing but fond memories of your dad from when you lived on Canaan Way. Your dad was definitely one of the nicest people we ever had the privilege of meeting. We will always remember him laughing. Remember when he ran to Kai when he fell on the trampoline? Kai came home and raved about how cool your dad was. Indeed he was! Our prayers are with you. The Demusz Family
