William F. NEDOROSTEK Obituary


William F. Nedorostek, 76, of Unionville, beloved husband of Phyllis (St. Amand) Nedorostek, passed away Saturday, August 24th. Born in Unionville, July 26, 1937, son of the late Albert and Mary (Smolen) Nedorostek, he resided in town all his life. Prior to retiring in 1995, William was an SNET Technician for 35 years. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was a longtime communicant at the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea in Unionville where he served as an usher at the 11:00am Mass. Besides his wife, William is survived by his four children, Gary F. Nedorostek and his wife Marsha A. of Canton, Karen Micele and her husband Vincent of Florida, Carlene Kuba and her husband Ronald of Rhode Island, and Todd W. Nedorostek and his fiancée Jennifer Agnitsch of Virginia, his brother, Edward Nedorostek of Burlington and seven grandchildren, Kelly, Connor, Jack, Madeline, Michael, Keegan and Kate.
Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Friday (Aug. 30) from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Saturday (Aug. 31) at 9:15am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville at 10:00am. Burial with full military honors will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Bidwell Square, Unionville, CT 06085.
