A mentor who sparked my now life-long passion for sacred and liturgical choral singing. Being named Precentor sixth form year is still one of the highlights of my life! I have always been grateful to Bill for believing in and teaching me so much! My deepest condolences to Meredith and family.

A man who revolutionized schoolboy congregational singing while at the Kent School through zeal, charisma and faith! No one ever did it better! The impression has remained with me for over five decades! With deepest sympathy to his family, Jim Mell, Kent 1960.
