Kazimiera Wojcik Obituary

Kazimiera (Kalita) Wojcik, 75, of Bristol passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Bristol Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Waclaw Wojcik. She was born in Poland, daughter of the late Stanislaw and Maria Kalita. Kazimiera was a dedicated and devoted mother and grandmother, who loved and cared deeply for her family. Despite her health struggles during the past eight years, she still placed her family first. She was full of life and energy, taking on all life experiences. However, she was at her happiest loving, supporting, helping, providing, and feeding her family and friends. She will now rest in peace next to her husband in Mielec, Poland. She left us with a priceless gift of love, patience, and understanding. Kazimiera is survived by her daughters, Helena Smas and her husband Janusz and Grazyna Blasiak and her husband Tomasz both of Bristol; her grandchildren: Elzbieta and Malgorzata Smas, Mark and Monique Blasiak; her sister Danuta Krakowska and her husband Stanislaw of Newington, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five siblings: Stanislawa Pociask, Wladyslaw, Antoni, Jan and Edward Kalita. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Feb. 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. Funeral service and burial will be in Poland. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kazimiera's name can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 6062 Albert Lea, MN 56007-6662.
