John was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Helen (Kosmonaitis) Katin, his siblings Gladys (Katin) Dicklow, Mary (Madeska) Markiewicz, Edward Medeska, Daniel Madeska and two nieces, Joanne Dicklow Rooney and Donna Prete.
