Dominic V. DeMarco Obituary

Dominic V. DeMarco, 91 of Kensington, survived by his wife Natalie (Andrews), passed away February 14, 2014. Son of Angelo and Mary DeMarco, he was a US Army Veteran who served during World War II under General George S. Patton, 546 Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion-Battery B, Patton's Royal Guard. He was a member of Local 40 Sheet Metal Workers' Association International, St. Paul Church and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Civitan Club, VFW (Berlin), and American Legion (Berlin). He was past President of CCARC (New Britain), Berlin Association for Special Education, and Miami Beach Association (Old Lyme). He is also survived by his children Robert (Tina), Carolyn Miranda, James (Deborah), 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Daniel; and siblings Pasquale, Antoinette DiLoreto, and Rose Giulietti. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CCARC, 950 Slater Rd., New Britain, CT 06053. The Carlson Funeral Home, New Britain, is assisting the family with arrangements.
