Jamillie T. Farrah Obituary


Jamillie T. Farrah, of West Hartford, died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. Born in Van Buren, ME to the late Habib and Alma (Tanous) Farrah. Jamillie graduated from Mt. St. Joseph Academy, and the University of Connecticut. She retired from Day, Berry & Howard after 35 years of loyal service as a paralegal. Jamillie was a kind and creative woman, who loved music and her faith, she would combine these passions while singing in the Music Ministry at her Church, St. Thomas the Apostle. Jamillie is survived by her siblings; Carlise Farrah her best friend and sister, Elias Farrah and his wife Florence, George Farrah and his wife Aynesse, Ann Carroll, and Victoria McCormick. Many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews mourn her loss. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Oncology Staff at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center as well as Kate Cornett, Connie Reder, and Noreen Dowd, three friends who gave tirelessly of their time and support. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 8, at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 872 Farmington Ave. West Hartford. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends and family may call Friday from 3-6 p.m. at the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave. West Hartford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, or the , 825 Brook St, I-91 Tech Ctr Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
