Peter Letizia, 62, beloved husband, brother and teacher from West Hartford died suddenly on March 24th. During his 38 year career in the West Hartford Public Schools he taught at Plant Junior High, Sedgwick Middle School and Conard High School where he also coached varsity field hockey and JV baseball and was the voice of Conard football. A man of great compassion and understanding, he always went the extra mile to help anyone in need, even in his recent retirement. Pete's wry sense of humor and his kind, charming nature were known to everyone and his humility and integrity were evident in everything he did. His love for the NY Giants and Red Sox was legendary.
