Alexander J. Muzyk Obituary

Alexander J. Muzyk, 88 of New Britain died on Monday, April 28, 2014. He was born of Simsbury and lived in New Britain for many years, previously living in Plainville Alexander was the son of Paul and Rose (Zablocki) Muzyk. He proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII and prior to his retirement worked for many years in the service department at the Parsons Buick. Alex enjoyed golf, bowling and making custom clocks, but his greatest joy was being with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his wife of 65 years, Jennie (DiDonno) Muzyk; his devoted children, daughter Carolyn Ferrari and her husband, Michael of Windsor; his son Paul Muzyk and his wife, Cindy of Rocky Hill and his daughter, Sharon Camerato of Wallingford. He is also survived by two beloved grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Kyle and Justin Camerato and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 1 at 9 a.m. at the New Britain Memorial/Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. at St. Jerome Church, Slater Rd. New Britain. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, East St. Plainville. Calling hours will be today, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
