Leo G. Lefebvre Obituary

Leo G. Lefebvre, 83, of Bloomfield, formally of Enfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Canada on December 29, 1930 to the late Leopold and Juliette Lefebvre. Leo proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from Hobart Corporation in 1995 after twenty five years. When he was young he especially enjoyed race cars, he also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially around meal times and social gatherings. Leo is survived by his six loving children, Debbie Buoni and her husband, Fred, Donna Kazmierowicz and her husband, John, Laura Lefebvre and partner Mingo Colon, Theresa Lefebvre, Lynn Bryne and partner, Tom Smith, and Leo Lefebvre; his twenty-one grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a brother, Andre Lefebvre and his wife, Florence. Leo was predeceased in death by his companion, Pauline Fotiathis and a sister, Edie Flannigan. Family and friends can gather on Thursday, May 22, at 9 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield for a procession to St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Military honors will be conducted immediately after the Mass. Committal will be private at the convenience of the family. Leo's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels.
