Regina H. (Matczak) Kielczewski, 105, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Kielczewski. Born and raised in Dickson City, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Comminska) Matczak, she was a New Britain resident since 1958 and a member of Holy Cross Church and its Ladies Guild and Rosary Society. She enjoyed crocheting and was an accomplished baker but above all loved being a homemaker for her family. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she leaves her son Leonard Kielczewski and his wife Jean of New Britain, her daughter Evelyn Rinaldi and her husband Daniel of New Britain, her grandson Richard Kielczewski of Tucson, AZ and his children Terri Rushlow and her husband Stewart and Jeffery Kielczewski all of Torrington, granddaughter Joann Rinaldi of New Britain, granddaughter Patricia Crisafulli and her husband John and their children Matthew, Mallory and Michael Crisafulli all of Bristol, and grandson David Rinaldi and his wife Jerrilyn and their children Zachary and Nicholas Rinaldi all of North Redding, MA, and six great great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Dorothy Motulko of Kensington and many nieces and nephews. Regina was predeceased by seven siblings. Her family would like to extend their gratitude to Deacon Michael Rubitz for the prayers and support given to Regina. Her funeral service will begin on Friday, May 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. at the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. She will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Burritt Hill.
