L. Louis Bellefleur Obituary

L. Louis "Lou" Bellefleur, 81, beloved husband of Ina (Stetson) Bellefleur, of Lebanon, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at William Backus Memorial Hospital, Norwich. Born in Limestone, Maine on December 11, 1932 son of the late William and Martha (Ouellette) Bellefleur, he had lived in Enfield before moving to Lebanon 10 years ago. He was an avid gardener and loved sharing the bounty of his wonderful vegetable garden with family and friends. He was a NASCAR fan and spent many hours watching the races. He also got great pleasure from watching the many birds and animals that visited the beautiful and peaceful meadow in his backyard. In addition to his wife of 62 years, Ina, he leaves his children, Sylvia Poole and her husband, George, Louis Bellefleur, Allen Bellefleur and his wife, Tara and Susan Baker and her husband, Ben; two sisters, Sandra Messier and her husband, Bob and Karolyn Farquhar and her husband Danny. "Bapa" will be missed by five loving grandchildren, Tina Mastalerz, Michael Mastalerz and his wife, Stephanie, Brent Baker and his partner Bobi-Lee Bomster, Benji Baker and Noelle Bellefleur; and three adoring great grandchildren, Briyana and Braden Baker and Josie Mae Mastalerz and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12 at 6 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. Burial will be private. His family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m., prior to the memorial service.
