Mary A. Klupko Obituary

Mary A. (Sycz) Klupko, 94, of East Hartford and formerly Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Michael Klupko, passed away on Wednesday (May 28, 2014). Born in Hartford on March 20, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Starron) Sycz and had lived in the area her whole life. She was a longtime, faithful communicant of Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her three devoted children, Nicholas Klupko and his wife Carlyse of East Hartford, Ann Caso and her husband Nick of Lake Worth, FL and Joan Cooper of East Hartford; six adored grandchildren, Tina, Crystal, Nicholas, III, Denise, Nicole and Nicholas, Jr.; six cherished great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Sycz and two sisters, Bertha Itczak and Catherine Jarvis. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday (June 4) at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
