Pamela Ann Cotharin Obituary

Pamela Ann (Bissonnette) Cotharin, 46, of Middletown, beloved wife of David Cotharin, passed away on Tuesday, July 8th at home. Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of Norbert and Sonja (Taylor) Bissonnette, Sr. of Middletown. Pam graduated top of her class from Central Connecticut State University as a Certified Public Accountant. She had lived in Middletown for the past twenty-seven years and ran a home day care for twenty years. She was a member of Saint Pius X Church and sang in the church choir. Pam volunteered at the YMCA with the swim team and was a swim team mom for her kids at Middletown High School. She was an avid four wheeler, loved the footprints prayer, and enjoyed playing pool and traveling to Caesar's Cove Haven where she and her husband received Forever Lover's Gold Status. Pam touched many lives through all her involvement but her greatest passion in life was being a devoted wife and mother. She will truly be missed by all. Along with her husband and parents, Pam is survived by her two daughters, Cassandra Cotharin of Middletown and Brittany Cotharin of Cromwell; a brother, Norbert "JR" Bissonnette, Jr. and three sisters, Dina Seifert of TN, Connie Dauphinais of MO and Debbie Shekosky of Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 14th at 10:00 am at Saint Pius X Church, 310 Westfield Street, Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pam's memory to C.A.T.A.L.E.S., Inc., P.O. Box 901, Middletown, CT 06457.
