Lynn M. Rossini Obituary

Lynn M. (O'Connor) Rossini, 47, of Avon, beloved wife of Robert J. Rossini passed away at home on Monday, July 21, 2014, after a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Hartford, to the late Rose (Arsego) O'Connor, Lynn grew up in Wethersfield . After graduating from Wethersfield High School, she went on to get an Associate's Degree at Manchester Community College. Her passion for interior design and decorating inspired her to open her own design company, Roselyn Design. Lynn loved her children dearly and was focused on being an active part of their lives and activities. She was always available to help others when the need arose. In addition to her husband, Lynn is survived by her daughter Octavia Rossini, and her sons, Andre and Garret Rossini; her brother Brian O'Connor of Rocky Hill, her sister Cindy Thompson and her husband Kevin of Avon, and their sons Derek & Kyle; her uncle, Anthony Arsego of New Britain; her in-laws Robert & Caroline Rossini of Canton, Rob & Diane Pemberton, Richard & Lori Rossini, and Jeff & Francine Rossini. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, July 24 from 5-8 p.m. at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Rd. Avon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 25, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon. Burial to follow at St. Ann's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynn's memory may be made to Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center, 80 Seymour Street, Hartford CT 06106 or the Educational Fund for Lynn's Children c/o Simsbury Bank, 27 Dale Road, PO Box 819, Avon, CT 06001.
