Elizabeth Carol (Bolduc) Wright, 52, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014. Born December 9, 1961 in Hartford; the daughter of the late Albert O. Bolduc and Marguerite (Murphy) Mongeau and step-father Virgil "Mike" Mongeau. She was raised in Granby and moved to Colorado in the 1980's where she stayed for 18 happy years establishing lifelong friendships. Beth had a passion for the outdoors and took great pride in her gardening. It was a true joy for her that she was happy to share with all. She loved to walk in the woods and pick wildflowers. Most of her summers were spent at the family cabin on Upper Goose Pond in Lee, MA where she was truly at home. Beth loved her family and took great pride in all their accomplishments both big and small. You could always count on Beth for a kind word, soft heart and a smile. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life that included spending time with family and friends and of course, her beloved cat, Shenandoah. She leaves behind to grieve, her soulmate, Thomas Fortier of Winsted; step-son, Dan, his wife Amanda and their son Logan; step-son, Jason and his wife Katie; brother, Michael Bolduc of Simsbury; three sisters, Kathleen Illusky and husband John of Harwinton, Margaret Arnold of Pleasant Valley and Mary D'Esopo and husband John of Granby; brother-in-law, Richard Jolie of Granby; three sister-in-laws, Carol McKone, Janet Hickson and Linda Milkowski as well as their spouses and children; 19 nieces and nephews and 17 grand nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia George and Theresa Wadsworth. Memorial services will be held on August 10, 2014 at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church at 2 PM with a reception to follow in the Fellowship hall of the church.
