Dear Susan--Tim and I were so saddened to learn today of Don's death this past fall. We were friends back in his Dartmouth and law school days, and admired his intellect and forceful personality then, and as we heard of his career over the years. When we met you, we knew that you made a wonderful pair together, and am glad you have have children and grandchildren to help you remember him. Pat and Tim Fry

Dear Susan:

Through my friendship with Bethany, I had the pleasure of spending some brief moments with you and Don. During those times, I was taken with his infectious sense of humor, incisive intellect and deep compassion for the human condition. I also marveled at the strong symbiosis which was so evident in your partnership.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family for this tragic, untimely loss of a very special, soulful man.

Dear Sue, Tamara and Tregony, I am shocked and saddened to hear of Don's sudden death. My daughter, Lucy Georgeff, and I recall Don and your family very well from our Babysitting Co-op days in Hartford. Don was such a fine man, and his intelligence and big heart will stand out in our memories forever. Ron surely has welcomed Don to heaven. Our hearts go out to all of you in your loss.

Beneath Cathedral Rock in Sedona AZ, three friends ever young no matter their mileage. Dear Pogue, to the left; his life-lifting laughter, ever heard.
