Maxine Baker Obituary
Maxine Baker (Patterson), 69 of Manchester, died peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017. She was born March 9, 1948, in Brundidge, AL to the late Lewiston and Annie Claude Patterson. She retired after 27 years from Pratt and Whitney, East Hartford in 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband of 51 years Morris Baker; son Carl Baker (Sandra) of East Hartford; granddaughter Emily Baker; four brothers Ozzie, Curtis (Doris), Harold (Trina) and Willie (Alice) Patterson; and a host of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by siblings Earl, Jimmie, Lewiston and Benjamin Patterson; Betty Dunn and Shirley Newson. Services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017; calling hour 9 a.m., services 10 a.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 1154 Blue Hills Ave, Bloomfield, CT; burial at East Cemetery, 240 East Center Street, Manchester, CT; Arrangements by All Faith Memorial Chapel 90 John Fitch Blvd, South Windsor, CT.

Uncle Morris, there are no words to express how I feel at the lost of Maxine. My heart breaks constantly because at this time I cannot be there to share a smile, a hug, not even a word. Maxine will be greatly missed. I pray your strength in the LORD. I find comfort believing her troubles are over and she is at peace.

I Barbara Patterson, was one of Maxin's best friends. Married to her brother Jimmie for 18 years before he died. I have 3 children by Jimmie. Mrs Barbara Patterson sister-in-law.
