Glad I get these reminders this guy was one of Gods chosen people he made a lot of peoples day . Customers looked forward to seeing and talking to Gil . His family members were fortunate enough to have him. I hope we meet again one day . Rest in Peace My Friend .

When Gil´s obit pops every year in my email I cannot help but think of him . Like I´ve said in the past Gil was one of Gods chosen people . One of the nicest most respected persons I have ever known . I am sure he is missed by family and friends . He probably has a prime parking spot for his Caddy up in heaven . One of Gods Chosen for sure . Hope to see you on the other side . Rest In Peace My Friend.

To the entire Gilbert family my condolences. I met Gil at Food Mart in West Hartford when I worked for Coca -Cola . To say the least he was one of the friendliest people I've ever met . Would go out of his way to talk to you or just say hello and the customers there truly loved him . It's been a long time since I've seen him but his memory will live on with me . He was a special person who I'm sure touched many lives . You were all fortunate to have him . And I was fortunate enough to have crossed his path . May He Rest In Peace .
