EMOND, Nancy M. (Woods) Nancy M. (Woods) Emond, 61, of Enfield, passed away peacefully Sunday, (March 28, 2004) at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs. Born in Hartford she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Smith) Woods and has lived in Enfield for the past two years previously residing in East Windsor. She is survived by three sons, Matt and Jay Emond both of Enfield and Keith Emond and his wife, Linda of Anaheim, CA; a daughter, April Powell of Lancaster, CA; a brother, Charles Woods of Enfield; four sisters, Charlotte Unghire of Enfield, Laurie Chagnon of Windsor, Shirley Woods of East Hartford, and Terri Goodwin of New York, NY; five grandchildren, Jeffrey and Whitney Bowen, and Ashley, Corey, and Marissa Emond; two great-grandchildren, Kaliyah Miller and My'Unique Emond and her former husband, Ernest J. Emond Sr. of Enfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 5 at 12 p.m. at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be at 10 a.m. up until the time of the service Monday.
