Obituary Condolences

Alyce (Murray) Canapari, 70, of South Glastonbury, wife of John Canapari, died Thursday, (May 29, 2003) at home. Born May 17, 1933 in Glastonbury, daughter of the late William L. and Florence (Ryan) Murray, she was a lifelong resident. Alyce had worked for 50 years for what is now Nickel Associates in Glastonbury. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Paul A. Canapari of New Britain; two daughters and a son-in-law, Leslie R.C. Chasser of Glastonbury, Lisa C. and Ronald P. Curtis of Dunwoody, GA; four grandchildren, Emily T. Chasser, Jessica M. Curtis, Emma L. Curtis, Max E. Curtis; two sisters, Muriel Tarwood of Glastonbury, Florence Torpey of East Hartford; a dear and lifelong friend, Marion Lord and her husband, Ben of East Hampton and their children, Sharon Furman of East Hampton, Jeffrey Lord of Watertown, Susan and Brian Hyde of East Hampton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 2 at 11 a.m. in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery, South Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, June 1 from 4-7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
