Kari A. (Burgesen) Aslanzadeh, 38, of Bushy Hill Road, Simsbury, wife of Jaber Aslanzadeh, died Thursday, (November 1, 2001) at home. She was born March 1, 1963, in Minneapolis, MN, daughter of Holger Louis and Maureen (Jacobson) Burgesen of Mesa, AZ and had lived in Rochester, MN prior to moving to Simsbury 11 years ago. Mrs. Aslanzadeh was a surgical staff nurse at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Avon, a Brownie Troop Leader, and volunteered at the Scleroderma Clinic at John Dempsey Hospital. Besides her parents and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Farah J. and Aryana K. Aslanzadeh of Simsbury; a sister, Kristin Burgesen of Madison, WI; and a brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Mary Burgesen of St. Louis, MO; and a niece and nephew, Mandy and Tony. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, Sunday, November 4, 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, November 5, 1 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 224 Lovely Street, Avon with Pastor William S. Carter, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, Tri-State Chapter, 1182 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
