Frederick O. BOUFFARD Obituary
BOUFFARD, Frederick O. Frederick "Fred" O. Bouffard, 75, of Windsor Locks, loving husband of Barbara H. (Manna) Bouffard, was welcomed into the embracing arms of the Lord on December 31, 2009, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. Fred was born February 10, 1934, in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Francis and Exilia (Landry) Bouffard. Fred enjoyed fishing, camping, travel and spending time with his family. Fred retired from the Iron Workers Local 15 after 38 years. Fred is survived by his wife, Barbara, whom he was married 51 years. He is also survived by seven children: Steven Bouffard, his wife Diane of Enfield, CT; David Bouffard, wife Barbara of Fairlawn, OH; Jeffrey Bouffard, his wife Kate of Somers, CT; Lori Pikul, her husband Don of Windsor Locks, CT; Kathryn Keene, her husband, Tracy of Norway, ME; James Bouffard, his wife Tanya of Lakeland, FL; Mark Bouffard, his wife Karen of Manchester, CT. Fred loved his 11 grandchildren, Anthony Bouffard, Christopher Bouffard, his wife, Jennifer, Amanda Bouffard, Benjamin Bouffard, Devin Pikul, Jacenta Grover, her husband Chad, Krysonia, Valleri, and Jade Keene, Freddy Bouffard, and Josh Wyman; his four great-grandchildren, Summer, Claire, Cadence, and Cheyenne; a brother, Ernest Desroches, his wife Eileen of Worcester, MA; several nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by a sister, Florence Duquette and a brother, Arthur Bouffard. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family in Celebration of Fred's life on Monday, January 4, 2010, from 5-8 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will gather by 10 am on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Fred can be made to the The ALS Association Connecticut Chapter, 4 Oxford Road, Unit D4 Milford, CT 06460, or to Home & Community Health Services, 101 Phoenix Ave, Enfield, CT 06082.
