Thomas Dryden PEACOCK Obituary
PEACOCK, Thomas Dryden Thomas Dryden Peacock, 77, of Windsor Locks, passed away peacefully on Sunday, (February 28, 2010) at a local convalescent home. Born in Yorkshire, England on August 31, 1932, son of the late James William and Florence (Atchison) Peacock, he was raised and educated in England and had lived in Windsor Locks for over 40 years. Thomas had worked as an electrical contractor for many years and he owned and operated his own business, TNT Electric, Inc. until his retirement in 2002. For over 25 years, he was an active member and past president of the Windsor Locks Lions Club. He leaves a son, Thomas C. Peacock and his wife Brenda of Bolton, MA; a daughter, Susan Montemerlo and her husband Steven of Windsor Locks; his former spouse, Phyllis D. Peacock of Windsor Locks; six grandchildren, Tori Bleier and her husband Jake of Virginia, Elizabeth, Abby, and Philip Peacock all of Bolton, MA, and Nancy and Craig Montemerlo of Windsor Locks; a sister, Joan Bowyer of! England; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John Peacock; and a sister, Jean Peacock. Services will be private. The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Windsor Locks Lions Charities, P.O. Box 105, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Carmon Windsor Funeral Home has care of the arrangements.
