Obituary Condolences

GOLDFARB, Harold L. Harold L. Goldfarb, 82 of West Hartford passed away on Tuesday, (July 27, 2010), at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Frieda and Isaac Goldfarb. He was predeceased in 2009 by his beloved wife of 57 years, Rita Goldfarb. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Iris Goldfarb of Farmington, Son, James Goldfarb and wife Barbara, of East Hartford and his cherished and first granddaughter Jaclyn Goldfarb, and loving granddaughters Elisandra Dorival, Julia Fernandez and his beautiful seven month old grandson Ryan Goldfarb, who always had a big smile for his "Pop". He also leaves his sister Ruth Rutt of West Hartford, lifelong friend Bob Wall and many loving nieces and nephews. Harold served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Jewish War Veterans, Laurel Post 45. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 30, at 1 PM at Fairview Cemetery, 200 Whitman Avenue, West Hartford. In Lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, 85 Retreat Avenue, Hartford, CT. 06106.
