Tammy S. LARSEN Obituary
LARSEN, Tammy S. Tammy (Shaw) Larsen, 44, of Holiday, FL, formerly of Granby, beloved soul mate of Michael Russo passed away Sunday, (August 15, 2010) in Holiday, FL with Michael and Charlene Bellott by her side. Born in Hartford on October 1, 1965, she grew up in Granby, graduated from Granby High School and lived in Granville, Southwick, Collinsville, and Canton before moving to Florida. She enjoyed dancing, was very talented in art, and graduated from cosmetology school, but was always involved and loved working in the restaurant business (i.e. Porch West Grill in Canton and in Florida restaurants). Besides soul mate Michael Russo, she leaves two sons, Joshua Larsen and Joseph Nitsch, both of Southwick, MA; her mother, Sheila Shaw and John Parla of Granby; her father Charles Shaw of Granville, MA; a half brother, Jason Shaw of Granville, MA; her grandmother, Grace Shaw Trombley of Florida; three stepsisters, Dina Parla, Darcy Cooley, and Julie Clifford; a stepbrother, Michael Parla; aunts and uncles, Eileen and Keith Boehm, Irene Shaw and Rick Wilbur, Jimmy and Terry Shaw, Doug McVey, Charlene Bellott, Lisa and John Taylor, Gayle and Doug Max, and many cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, L. Timothy Shaw, grandfathers, Lafayette Shaw and Lawrence McVey, and her grandmother, Alma "Blondie" Holcomb. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 4th, 2 PM at the Granville Federated Church, Granville Center, MA. Burial will be private at the Silver Street Cemetery, Granville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tammy Shaw Larsen Trust Fund for Joshua and Joseph, C/O First National Bank of Suffield, 34 Turkey Hill Rd.
