DLUBAC, Michael J. Michael J. Dlubac, 79, of Firetown Road, Simsbury, husband of the late Dorothy (Hines) Dlubac, died Saturday, (October 30, 2010) at the Governor's House in Simsbury. He was born July 20, 1931 in Hartford, son of the late Paul James Dlubac, Jr. and Annie Patricia (Burns) Dlubac and had lived in Wethersfield for many years prior to moving to Simsbury. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served as a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force. Michael was a graduate of Springfield College where he received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Mr. Dlubac was the Manager for Tolls and Concessions for the State of Connecticut for many years prior to his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the Gildo T. Consolini VFW Post 3272 in Avon and a member and past Treasurer of the Foresters of America. He is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul James Dlubac, III and his wife Yong Cha of Simsbury and John and Karen Dlubac of Granby; four nephews, Paul J. Dlubac, IV of Simsbury, John Dlubac of Newport, RI, Danny Dlubac and his wife Heidi of Seattle, WA and Steven Dlubac and his wife Colleen of Hudson, NH; a niece, Kelly Holland and her husband Jason of Massachusetts; two great nephews, James Dlubac and Jacob Holland and a great niece, Madeline Dlubac. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury on TODAY, (November 1st), from 4-6 p.m. Funeral will be Tuesday, (November 2nd), 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Simsbury. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Tariffville.
