Daniel E. ROMAN Obituary
ROMAN, Daniel E. Daniel E. Roman, 39, of Enfield, beloved son of Marie (Ledoux) Roman and the late Raymond Roman, passed away on Monday, (November 22, 2010), at St. Francis Hospital. Danny was born on February 10, 1971 in Hartford and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. He attended Enfield High School and formerly worked at Goodwill Industries. Danny loved to sing and play his musical instruments. He was always smiling and never complained. Danny always put others ahead of himself and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his mother, Marie, Danny is survived by his sister Deborah (Roman) Eckenroth, his brother Mark Roman and dear friend, Wendy Jones; his niece Kristin Eckenroth and his two nephews, Michael Eckenroth and Mark Roman, Jr., his great niece, Katherine Wheaton; his aunts JoAnn Baker and Aline Roman-Bowman; his great aunts and cousins; and dear friends, Pam Banning and Dell Harris. In addition to his father, Raymond, Danny was predeceased by his uncle Robert Roman and cousins, Kelly Baker and Timothy Roman. Danny's family would like to thank Ami Rock, Helen Juliano, Kristin Eckenroth, Jermaine Russell, Kim Campbell and Eileen MacDonald for the great care and love they gave him. They would also like to extend thanks to the Enfield Police Department, the Weymouth Road Fire Department, Beth LeMay and the Staff of the Vernon VNA, the Nurses in the emergency room and on 10-9 at St. Francis Hospital for the good care Danny was given so many times over the years. Family and friends may gather at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield Saturday, (November 27, 2010), at 9 a.m. for a procession to Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd. Enfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Daniel's life will be held at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield. Danny's family will receive relatives and friends at Leete-Stevens from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, (November 26, 2010). Donations in Danny's memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 659 Tower Avenue, First Floor, Hartford, CT 06112.
