Timothy C. VEILLEUX Obituary
VEILLEUX, Timothy C. Timothy "Timmy" C. Veilleux, 53, of Enfield, beloved husband of Lori (Magora) Veilleux, died unexpectedly on Friday, (November 26, 2010), at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Born in Waterville, ME on January 30, 1957, he was the loving son of Carl Veilleux of Bristol, and Pearl (Hebert) Veilleux, of FL. Timmy was a longtime resident of Enfield and a 1976 graduate of Fermi High School. He also attended Raymond Service School in 1977, Cheney Tech in 1984, and Prince Tech from 1983-1986, where he received his electrical certificate. Timmy has been an electrician for the past 27 years and worked at ECI Contractors of Hartford for the past 15 years. He enjoyed many things in life especially camping, boating, the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, NASCAR racing and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. Timmy loved nurturing his many plants and his ceramic garden frogs at Roaring Brook Campground in Stafford Springs which was his treasured "home away from home". Timmy always had a project going and loved to help others with their projects. He had a collection of many hats that he acquired from various places. Timmy's greatest source of joy was entertaining his children and their friends. He was a devoted Dad who cared very deeply about his children. Timmy was loved and will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched. In addition to his parents and wife, Lori, with whom he just celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary in Aruba, Timmy is survived by his cherished children, Heather and Nicholas Veilleux, of Enfield; his brother, Larry Veilleux and his wife, Carol, of Enfield; his sisters, Carla St. Laurent and her husband, Steve, of Bristol, and Bonnie Morton, of TX; his sister-in-law, Debbie Roberts, of Westfield, MA, his brothers-in-law, Mark Magora and his wife, Lori, of Enfield, and Steven Magora and his wife, Laura, of Enfield; several nieces and nephews; many longtime friends and his friends at Roaring Brook Campground; his special dogs, Baxter and Yager. He was predeceased by his dog, Buster. A funeral service celebrating Timmy's life will be held on Thursday, (December 2, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery. Timmy's family will receive relatives and friends at Leete-Stevens on Wednesday, (December 1), from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Timmy's memory be made to the Heather and Nicholas Veilleux College Fund, c/o New England Bank, 855 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082.
