James A. BELL Obituary
BELL, James A. James Alfred Bell, 78, of Cromwell, beloved husband of Johanne (Lemonde) Bell passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 22, 2011. Born in Port Huron, MI on October 23, 1932, he was the son of the late Herman and Pauline (Anderson) Bell. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, James A. Bell Jr., John A. Bell, and David A. Bell, all of Michigan, Herman Bell of California, and Jonathan A. Bell of Pennsylvania; his daughters, Jessie M. Bell-Mills and her husband, Michael, of Michigan and Carolyn A. Bell of Michigan; his brothers, Charles (Clintonia) of Michigan and Richard (Linda) of Illinois; his sisters, Katherine and Mildred of Michigan and a dear brother-in-law, Dr. Reginald Shelby of Ohio. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jerald Sr., Stephon (Erika), Tranise and Davon, and five great-grandchildren, Jerald Jr., Aidan, Alijah, Aiyana and Xavier. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Herman and a sister, Jessie. Funeral services will be on Saturday, (January 29, 2011) at 11 a.m. at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Friday, (January 28, 2011) at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. and in lieu of flowers, may make donations in James's memory to the , 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
