Jesse EICHNER

EICHNER, Jesse Jesse Eichner, 92, of Manchester, beloved husband of 66 years to Martha (Fruh) Eichner, passed away on Friday (January 28, 2011). Born in Switzerland, he lived most of his life in New York before moving to Manchester two years ago. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Eleanor Eichner of South Windsor, and three grandsons, Jason Eichner and his wife Jennifer, and Daniel and Ben Eichner. Funeral service will be held on Sunday (January 30, 2011) at 12:30 p.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. Burial will follow in Temple Beth Hillel Cemetery, South Windsor. His family will receive friends at the home of Howard and Eleanor Eichner, 243 Quarry Brook Drive, South Windsor, on Sunday after the burial until 6 p.m., and on Monday (January 31, 2011) from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to the American Friend of Magen David at Adom, 352 7th Ave., Suite 400, NY, NY 10001 or to the American Committee for the Weitzmann Institute of Science, 633rd Ave., NY, NY 10017.
