Obituary Condolences

SCIOSCIO, Joseph A. Joseph A. Scioscio, 45, of East Hartford, beloved son of Joseph D. Scioscio and Marlene (Marinelli) Scioscio of East Hartford, passed away suddenly, Monday (March 28, 2011) at home. Born in Hartford on February 3, 1966, he lived in East Hartford most of his life. A graduate of East Hartford High School, class of 1984, Joseph was a landscaper and enjoyed working on small engines and gardening. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Donna Lee Bolduc and her partner Rick Hemingway of East Hartford; his niece and godchild, Kara Lynn Bolduc; uncles and aunts, Michael and Judith Scioscio of Bloomfield and Daniel and Joan D'Esopo of Old Saybrook; his godfather, Anthony Crestino of Thomaston, as well as many cousins and his devoted dog, Emma. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Michael P. and Anna (D'Esopo) Scioscio and maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Helen (Misseri) Marinelli and his aunt and godmother, Loretta Crestino. Calling hours are Thursday (March 31) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. A funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. following the calling hours.
