James T. MAYOCK

MAYOCK, James T. James T. Mayock, 87, of Holiday, FL died March 21, 2011 in FL. Born in Wallingford, he lived in Hartford, Rochester, NY and Niagara Falls, NY before moving to Florida in 1979. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a life member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, in 2006. He is survived by his sons, John of FL, Richard (Margery) of Southington, CT; his daughter, Carol (Robert) Vespa of FL and five grandchildren, Jonathan, Jamie and Kyle Vespa, and Lauren and Daniel Mayock. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia (Mike) Chambrello of Plainville, his brother, John (Joan) Mayock, of East Granby, brother-in-law Fred Gent of East Granby, sister-in-law Carolyn Marrocco of Wethersfield and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by brothers Peter and Rev. Francis, and sisters Helen Gent and Kay Denny. Friends and family will be received on Saturday (April 9,2011) at the Church of Saint Dominic, 1050 Flanders Road, Southington at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery in Meriden with his beloved wife, Dorothy.
