ALLEN, Harold "Harry"
Harold "Harry" Allen, son of the late Sydney Allen and Ethel Johnson, died peacefully on Saturday (May 5, 2012); he leaves behind his beloved wife, Cynthia Allen; daughters Maxine Maxwell (Donald), Sharon Dawn Allen, Sandra Page (Leo); grandchildren Robert Oten II (Diane), Nicole Jenkins and Christopher Maxwell; three great grandchildren; brother Jack Byron Allen and many other family members and friends. Harry served courageously in World War ii with the British Air Force, was a member of the Masonic brotherhood and worked for many years as an accountant with Aetna. He retired in 1993 to spend time with the family and enjoy his hobbies. The family wishes to sincerely thank the caring and supportive staff at Hughes Health and Rehab where he was a resident for the last dew weeks of his life.
Calling hour will be on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 10 a.m., the funeral will begin at 11 a.m. at Fuqua Funeral Home, 94 Granby Street, Bloomfield, CT. Harry will be laid to rest at Mt. View Cemetery Bloomfield, CT, please visit henrylfuquafuneralservice.com.
