BIANCA, Mary (DeMaria)

Mary (DeMaria) Bianca, 89, of Kensington, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday (May 22, 2012). Born in Meriden, Mary graduated from Meriden High School, class of 1941 and went on to work as an inspector for New Departure in Meriden and later in Bristol for 40 years, retiring in 1981. She later was Site Manager for CRT Food Services at the Berlin Senior Center for 6 years. Mary was a member of St. Joseph's Church in New Britain. She enjoyed many social activities, especially bowling, setback tournaments and bingo. Mary also enjoyed casino trips and all night card games. Married for 29 years to the late Paul Bianca, founder of Bianca Signs, Mary is survived by two sons, Paul G. Bianca of New Britain and Dominick Bianca of Kensington; a daughter, Linda Esposito and her husband Frank of Vero Beach, FL; a brother, Dominic DeMaria and his wife Cathy of Meriden; two daughter-in-laws, Kimberly Bianca and Deborah Tanasi, both of Kensington; a step daughter, Margo Wright of Kensington; a brother-in-law, Anthony T. Bianca Sr. of New Britain; eight grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Heather and Sarah Bianca, Mark and Eric Gagne, Michael and Edward Malley; a great grandson, Logan Gagne; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Friday evening, 6-8 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. A prayer brief prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
