CORDEIRO, Eusebio S.

Eusebio S. Cordeiro, 67, beloved husband of Ilda (Da Costa) Cordeiro, of South Windsor, died Sunday (July 22, 2012) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Portugal on July 2, 1945, son of the late Manuel Da Silva Cordeiro and Angelina Correia Botelho da Silva Cordeiro he had lived in Hartford before moving to South Windsor for the past 36 years. Before retiring in 2001 he was employed by Jacob's Manufacturing Company of Bloomfield for 35 years. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, South Windsor and made wine and enjoyed gardening. He was a racing enthusiast of the Manchester Nutmeg Racing Pigeon Club. In addition to his wife, he leaves a son, Steven Cordeiro and his wife, Elizabeth and Sandy Jarvis and her husband, Mark all of South Windsor; two brothers, Manuel Cordeiro and his wife, Maria of East Hampton and Noe Silva and his wife, Ines of South Windsor; three sisters, Aldina Seco and her husband, Joaquin of Berlin, Maggie Silva-Hahn and her husband, John Hahn of Columbia and Ellie Blackman and her husband, Paul of Vernon; four grandchildren, Zachary, Victoria, Madalen and Matthew and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may gather, Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, South Windsor. His family will receive friends, Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Rd., South Windsor, CT 06074.
