Born in East Hartford on April 1, 1927, a son of the late John Francis and Lottie E. (Millest) Ghagan, he had been a life-long resident of East Hartford. Lodge #2063, East Hartford, and the Knights of Columbus, Council #3901, East Hartford. Jack enjoyed woodworking, fresh water fishing, golf, and collecting model trains. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Jacob. Along with his beloved wife, Evelyn, and his parents, Jack was predeceased by two sisters, Alice Ghagan and Mary Jane Hooper both of East Hartford. Jack is survived by his two devoted daughters, Kathleen E. Pagano and her husband, Michael, of East Hartford, Stacy A. He also leaves his sister, Betty Ann Ghagan of East Hartford; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Vozzo of South Windsor, and Frances Anne Krechko of Tolland; several nieces, nephews, former customers, and many dear friends.
