Upon being demobbed in 1947, he returned to Glasgow University to complete his Bachelor of Law Degree. In the five years that followed, he had two major successes, one managing his family's textile operation and two, marrying Wanda. In 1952, he immigrated to America and quickly took a position in the Pension Division of Connecticut General. He retired in 1981 as an Officer of the Company. Andrew was an avid swimmer. He enjoyed the many friends he made at the West Hartford JCC, the Cornerstone pool and McLean Therapeutic pool. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Lynne and Robert Kelsey, Drew and Ellen Hannah and Lesley and Steve Denhof as well as his grandchildren Gregory and Jennifer Kelsey, Eric Kelsey, Scott, Neil and Aimee Hannah and Katherine, Andrew and Hannah Denhof. Andrew's good cheer, loving spirit, intelligent wit and kind, gentle soul will be deeply missed.
