ZIELINSKI, Mary Ann
Mary Ann Zielinski, 44, of Coventry, beloved wife of David Paul Zielinski, passed away suddenly on Saturday, (November 2, 2013). Born in Hartford on March 12, 1969, daughter of Frank Perry and Judith (Williams) Ethridge, she was raised in Lebanon and had lived in Coventry for many years before moving to Greenville, SC where she lived for six years before moving back to Coventry three years ago. After graduating from high school, Mary enlisted in the Air National Guard and was activated to the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm. Mary later continued her education at the Sacred Heart University and later at Strayer University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2012. Mary worked for the Cigna Insurance Company in Bloomfield and was currently serving as the manager of broker training. In her spare time, she enjoyed interior decorating for her family and friends, traveling, and boating with her husband and friends. For many years she and her husband David docked their yacht at the West Haven Yacht Club and enjoyed taking trips around Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York. Mary also loved animals and had rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters over the years. Most of all, Mary will be remembered for the love and devotion she had to her family. She was always the life of the party and would do anything to help others. She leaves her husband, David Paul Zielinski; her daughter, Ashlyn Grace Zielinski of Coventry; her father, Frank Perry and his wife Joyce of East Longmeadow, MA; her mother, Judith Ethridge and her husband Ronald of Columbia; a brother, Frank Perry, Jr. and his wife Sarah of Columbia; a sister, Julie Rule of Coventry; a stepson, David Zielinski, Jr. and his wife Christina of Atlanta, GA; a stepdaughter, Tara Rajkovacz and her husband Patrick of Milwaukee, WI; a brother-in-law, Edward Zielinski of Schenectady, NY; a sister-in-law, Joyce Buck of Greenville, SC; six nieces and nephews; a great nephew; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, November 7, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Ladd-Turkington and Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd., Vernon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, November 8, 10 a.m., at St. Bernard Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Rockville. Burial will be private.
