LEMOINE, Thomas D.

Thomas D. Lemoine, 49, of Enfield, beloved and devoted husband of Stephanie (Postell) Lemoine, died tragically in an automobile accident on Wednesday (November 6, 2013) in East Windsor. He was born in Springfield, MA on May 31, 1964 and grew up in Chicopee, MA and was a 23 year resident of Enfield. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Lieutenant with the Walker-Macdougall Correctional Institute, Suffield. Tom enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping and was a diehard Boston fan. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Church, Enfield. In addition to his loving wife, Stephanie he leaves his parents, Joseph R. Lemoine in California and Catherine A. (Pellin) Lemoine of West Springfield, MA; two sons, Edwin D. Morales of Enfield and Joel L. Montalvo of Hartford; a brother, Joseph M. Lemoine and his wife, Gale of Southwick, MA; three sisters, Laurie Gay and her husband, Paul of Chicopee, MA, Lisa Kurki her partner, Gary Fournier of Chicopee, MA and Michelle Paul and her husband, Larry in California; mother-in-law, Janice Postell of Rocky Hill and many nieces and nephews, cousins and among his many friends he leaves, Juan and Syrma Baena and Mark and Donna White. His father-in-law, Willie D. Postell, predeceased him. Tom also leaves his faithful companions, King and Queenie and Dakota the cat.
Family and friends may gather on Friday Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St., North (Rt. 159), Suffield, followed by a Mass of Christian on 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield. Burial with military honors will be at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, Agawam, MA. His family will receive friends, Thursday Nov. 14 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
