I just saw this obituary and I am 6 years late. John was my cousin. We had lost track of each other after his mother, Agnes passed away. I attended John's wedding to Jane with our Grandfather. Over the years, John visited Wisconsin to visit our grandfather. I don't even remember the last time I saw John. John was 20 years older than I, but always took the time to engage me in conversation and was such a gentleman. He truly made our grandfather very happy when he did visit.
John's mother was born and raised in Cudahy, Wi and eventually moved to San Diego. I used to love to go and visit with her and her sister, my Aunt Ann.
I am so sorry to find out that he has gone. Hope the good memories bring comfort.
