Malachi Tracy Conway, Jr., 74, resident of 1110 Marshall Road, husband of Edith Brochu "Edy" Conway died, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Torrington, CT, September 3, 1939, he was a son of the late Malachi Tracy and Catherine McElhone Conway. A graduate of Torrington High School, Tracy was also a 1961 graduate of Yale University. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving from 1962-1969 and was retired from Cigna Corporation. Tracy was a loving husband and father. His grandchildren were the joy of his life. Tracy was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Conway. Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-three years of the home are two sons, Malachi Tracy Conway, III of Bluffton and Patrick Sean Conway and wife Peggy of Willmington, MA; three grandchildren, Ian, Erin and Malachi; and a brother, Michael Conway and wife, Melissa of Torrington. Memorial services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. from Asbury Hall with Rev. Father James Crowley and Rev. Carol Peppers-Wray officiating. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Torrington, CT.
