Charles William Kopp III Obituary

Charles William Kopp III, 40, of Meriden, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 27, 2014, at his home. He was born on September 1, 1973, in New Britain, CT, the son of Charles William Kopp II and Patricia Lindgren. Charles was a graduate of Rocky Hill High School with the Class of 1991 and went on to graduate from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. After graduation he went to work for The Aetna and later progressed into financial sales with various banks in the region. Charles was currently employed by Conecsus Industries an aviation based company. Charles had a passion for the beach, the ocean and was an avid skier in his younger years. A kind, caring and devoted father, he loved to spend time with his daughter, Casandra, who was the apple of his eye. Charles was an outgoing, gregarious and loving son, brother, father and friend who will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Along with his parents, Charles William Kopp II and his wife Concetta of Broad Brook and his mother, Patricia Lindgren of Bristol, and his daughter, Casandra Kopp of Cheshire, he leaves his brother, Bryan Kopp of New Britain and his sister, Luana Maddalena and her husband David of New City, NY and their daughter, Giana. Family and friends may gather on Monday, February 3, 2014, 9 a.m., at the Samsel & Carmon, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Catherine Church, Broad Brook. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Broad Brook. His family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the funeral home.
