Bernice Fray Obituary

Bernice (Mora) Fray, 62, of Manchester, went peacefully through the circle on January 25, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Bernice was an RN, working for 35 years at Bridgeport Hospital, Rockville Hospital, Victorian Heights Healthcare Center, and Westside Care Center. She took great pleasure in caring for others throughout her career. Bernice was blessed to have a large family that brought her great joy. Her mother, Nellie Mora of Manchester, cherished her until her last breath. Her father, John Mora, was waiting for her in Heaven with open arms. Her five siblings, who loved their sister tremendously, include Beverly Jacobsen, John Mora and his wife Judy, her twin Richard Mora, Bruce Mora, and Wayne Mora and his wife Kathleen. Bernice had two daughters, whom she was incredibly proud of and loved beyond words, Rebecca Stamulis and husband Jason, and Amanda Fray. The light of her life was her grandson Eli Stamulis, who knew her as "Gaga". Bernice was blessed with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, who took time to make sure she was loved and cared for. Nothing was more important to her than time with her family. A memorial mass to honor Bernice's life will be held on February 8, 2014, 10am, at St. James Church, 896 Main Street, Manchester, CT. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Salmon Brook Center Recreation Dept, 72 Salmonbrook Drive, Glastonbury, CT 06033 or Life Choice Hospice, 4 Oxford Road, Suite E4, Milford, CT 06460.
