Alberta Parsons Obituary
Alberta (Havely) Parsons, 74 of Bolton, beloved wife of the late Michael L. Parsons passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at her home. Alberta was born in North Platte, NE, November 14, 1939 to Hally and Opal (French) Havely and had been a resident of Bolton for most of her life. Prior to retiring she was a secretary for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for more 20 years. Alberta was a devoted and longtime member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Manchester, serving on the vestry and the altar guild. She was also a member of the Bolton Republican Town Committee. Alberta is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Sara Coffey and her husband, Mark Coffey, and their daughters, Meagan Coffey and Savannah Coffey of Brant Rock, MA; a son, Timothy Parsons and his wife, Nancy Parsons and their daughters, Zoe Parsons, Maia Parsons and Addy Parsons of Weybridge, VT. Besides her husband, Alberta was predeceased by her parents. A memorial service will be Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 10 am at St. Mary's Episcopal Church 41 Park St. Manchester. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in Alberta's name may be made to St. Mary's Altar Guild. Holmes Funeral Home Manchester is in care of arrangements. Just wanted to say that your mother was a wonderful person. My husband Kevin did the senior program for the town of Bolton. That's how we met your mom. She also gave my daughter her kayak which my daughter loves. We will never forget her for she was a wonderful person. Sorry for your loss. Kevin, Martha, Brittney and Nicholas Vincent.
