James Green Obituary
James R. Green, Jr., PhD, 75, of Cromwell, husband of M. Joan (Forsyth) Green, MD, died August 1st at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Born in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late James R. and Elizabeth (Glover) Green. Dr. Green graduated from Princeton and Yale Universities and practiced Clinical Psychology for over 45 years in New Haven, Portland and Cromwell. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Nicholas R. Green of North Haven; two step-daughters, Jennifer vanSickle and her husband, Andrew Angle of West Hartford, Deborah Jones, DDS of Frederick, MD and two step-grandchildren, Hayden Andrew Jones and Juliette Elizabeth Jones. Funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to Middlesex Hospital, c/o Development Office, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457 or Cromwell Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 269, Cromwell, CT 06416. Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell is handling the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservice.com
