Dick was a frequent partner of mine when we played golf. I really enjoyed playing with him. He was a gentleman in every way and a good golfer. He use to talk about his days as a looper , caddie at the local course when he was young. I lost track of him when he stopped playing. Wish I had kept in touch. I used to drive by his house, we lived in the same development. My heart felt sympathies go out to all who loved him. A nice guy.

To The Coppa Family,
Your Dad & our Uncle Charles Hastings served in WWII together and your Dad was in our Uncle's wedding. Your Uncle, Father Ernie Coppa was our parish priest at Assumption Church in Manchester CT and we all have great memories of him. He was very close with my parents. My Mom last spoke with your Dad in FL when her brother, Charles Hastings, passed away 3 years ago.
Losing a parent is never easy, but knowing they lived a long and enriched life gives us as children a peace that helps ease the pain.
Our most sincere sympathy on the loss of your Dad and we ask that God's love will help you through the difficult times ahead.
