Paul Robert Bestick, Jr., 72, of Simsbury, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at his home. He was born March 3, 1945 in Pensacola, FL, son of the late Paul Robert Bestick and the late Joyce Bestick Ward and had lived in Simsbury most of his life. He was a graduate of Northampton Community College having received his Associates Degree in Business Administration. Paul was a Postal Worker for the United States Postal Service in Simsbury for many years prior to his retirement. He is survived by his brother, Kevin Bestick and his wife Susan of Fredericksburg, VA; his sister, Holly Wrisley of Simsbury, his brother, Craig Ward and his wife Carol of Bow, NH and his nieces and nephews; Matthew Bestick and his wife Diane and Meredith Bestick Kisner; Brent Wrisley and his wife Kendra; Reed Wrisley and his wife Melissa; Keeley Wrisley Patrick and her husband Dan; Kelsey Ward Nugent and her husband Dan; and Hannah and Eric Ward. He is also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 18th at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury. Burial will follow in Simsbury Cemetery.
