FOSTER, Douglas Alan Douglas Alan Foster, 59, of East Haddam, beloved husband of Linda (Daley) Foster died suddenly on Saturday (December 30, 2006) at Middlesex Hospital. Born Aug. 12, 1947 in Pawtucket, RI. the son of the late Douglas and Winnifred (Johnson) Foster he had lived in East Haddam for the past 26 years. Before his retirement in June of this year he had been a Technology Education Teacher at Nathan Hale Ray High School in Moodus. Besides his wife Linda, Douglas is survived by his two sons, Alan and John Foster; his daughter Kerri Foster; two brothers Donald and David Foster; two sisters Dorothy Pfeiffer and Deborah Foster; his father and mother-in-law Thomas and Beverly Daley; and three grandchildren Dylan, Ann-Marie, and Shawn, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 main St. East Hampton TODAY from 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held Wednesday Jan. 3rd at 11 a.m. in Calvary Chapel 126 Sharp Hill Rd. Uncasville, Ct. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Moodus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Calvary Chapel 126 Sharp Hill Rd.
